Tigers and Bears oh my!

This year Carter turned 8 and was so excited to know he could start Cub Scouts. We were lazy about getting involved and they sent a letter home from school that the lions club in our community sponsors a Cub Scout troop. We went to the meeting to learn about it and found that doing it this way Mason could also be involved and not have to wait to be 8 if we did it though church. The big plus for me was that is non denominational which in turn makes it very diverse. I love diversity. I want my kids to have friends of all races, religions etc. So this is perfect for us!
First day of school 2011
boating October 2011

Who gets to go boating in October??? We do!!! Our friends in St George have a boat and invited us to go to the lake. We obviously said yes to that invite! The first time for my kids to boat. Thye loved it and LOVED the easy ski. They all stood up on it. Seth has no idea he's really only 3 years old.
Kirk Josh Carter today and yesterday
Kirk, Josh and Carter have known each other since birth but don't see each other as often as we would like. So it was fun to get them together again yesterday for a redo of the photo they had taken back when they were just two year old and now eight years old. Josh's birthday is in March, Carters is in June and Kirk is in August of 2003. So fun!

Happy Mothers Day
J is for Jumpy, My mom is the most jumpy, easy to scare person ever! She is also very jumpy when a passenger in a car. It always makes drives very exciting. She passed this trait on to me!
E is for Everlasting love, I'm sure all moms are this way but my Mom really is! She love all her kids the same even though we are different and have different trials and hard times. She is always there for us when we need her.
A is for Amazing, My Mom is amazing! I was always amazed at how she raised 4 kids with my dad working a lot and being in church callings that constantly took him away from helping her with us at church and after church, I was always amazed that every Sunday we had a nice Sunday dinner. Thanksgiving wasn't that exciting growing up because that's what we ate almost every Sunday!
N is for Nice, My mom is one of the nicest people you'll ever know. She has friends the range in age from 8-88. She love people and she is just so nice! She taught me a lot about how to treat people.
I is for Irreplaceable, My Mom is most definitely Irreplaceable! Growing up especially! But now that I have my own kids, it's nice to have her there backing me up and remembering how hard it is to have kids. And jumping in to help me when she can tell I'm about to loose it. There is nobody else on this earth that could ever fill her shoes!
N is for Needed, My Mom is a very needed lady! She is needed at home, at work, at church, In Logan (soon to be St. George), In Yuma, In Abilene and all over Utah with family and friends. We all need her for something. I'm so grateful that my mom is my best friend. I tell her everything and we love to just chat. We are very alike! I need you more than anyone!
E is for Enduring, my mom is a very enduring person. She just keeps on enduring. She rarely complains, just endures stress, work issues, family issues, car issues, etc. She is just awesome! You'd never know she was stressed or worried. She has so much faith and trust in God.
Happy Mothers Day MOM

Day 04- A habit that you wish you didn’t have
One would be naps! I don't get one very often but any chance I get it's the first thing I think of wanting to do with my free time. Something about closing my eyes and escaping the world for a couple hours is the best! I guess some people would say it's a bad habit but I say it's a habit I embrace!
Well I don't smoke or drink or any of those normal bad habit type things but I do have a habit of drinking Diet Coke or Diet Dr. Pepper everyday and it's a need not just a want So I'm addicted for sure! Kinda wish I didn't HAVE to drink it but it's so tasty and makes life so much better!
